The Association for Performing Arts in Contexts (PAC), founded in the spring of 2021, invites you to its second annual conference. The international conference, set up as a working meeting, is aimed at university teachers’ training in the fields of applied theatre, theatre education, performing arts, theatre in the social, community theatre, theatre in education, drama teaching and related fields. This second edition is organised by the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, Lebanon
At the heart of PAC is establishing and developing an international network that facilitates dialogue between different working principles, objectives, and self-understandings. PAC provides a framework in which interests can be articulated and working groups can be established.
Preceding the 1st annual conference in Zürich, Switzerland (2022), the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik invites an insight into the field of study from October 11th - 14th.2023. Performative mediation strategies, institution-critical action and research-based reflection form the core elements of a critical theatre pedagogical practice in this course of study.

This first edition is organised by the Master Theater, Theatre Education ZHdK and “ Professur für Kulturvermittlung und Theaterpädagogik” FHNW.
